บทคัดย่อ:

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบข้อมลที่เกี่ยวกับทาสในจารึกนครวัดสมัยหลังพระนครพ.ศ. 2109- 2290 โดยศึกษาข้อมูลจากจารึกสมัยหลังพระนครจำนวน40 หลักที่ปรากฏในหนังสือ“จารึกนครสมัยหลังพระนคร ค.ศ.1566-1747” รวบรวมโดยอุไรศรี วรศะริน

ผลการศึกษาพบว่าจากจารึกนครวัดสมัยหลังพระนครพ.ศ.2109-2290จำนวน40 หลักมีข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทาสปรากฏจำนวน 25 หลักเนื้อหาที่เกียวกับทาสที่ปรากฏในศิลาจารึกเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการทำบุญในโอกาสต่างๆ กล่าวคือในการทำบุญแต่ละครั้งจะมีการปลดปล่อยทาส ทำให้เราได้ทราบถึงข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทาสและผู้ปลดปล่อย, ความสัมพันธ์ของผู้ปลดปล่อยกับทาส, สถานภาพของทาสหลังการปลดปล่อย, การทำบุญโดยการปลดปล่อยทาส, จุดมุ่งหมายในการปลดปล่อย, เงื่อนไขในการปลดปล่อยทาส, กิจกรรมที่ทำร่วมกับการปลดปล่อยทาส รวมทั้งการสาปแช่งที่เกี่ยวทาสอีกด้วย

ABSTRACT:

The purpose of this research was to understand the slavery in the post Angkorian inscription (B.E. 2109-2290) by studying the information of 40 inscriptions of post Angkorian that posted in the book of "The post Angkorian C.E. 1566-1747" by UraisriWorasarin.

The result of the study is, there are 25 of 40 post Angkorian inscription that inscribed slavery and most of them mentioned about slave releasing. Slave releasing is a part of merit making and the inscriptions informed the objectives the conditions and the activities of slave releasing. Morever, we understand the relationship between slaves and their releasersthus a curse of slaves.
