บทคัดย่อ:

บทความนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะศึกษารูปคำยืมภาษาเขมรในสมุทรโฆษคำฉันท์ ซึ่งเป็นวรรณคดีที่แต่งในสมัยอยุธยาและในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์ วรรณคดีเรื่องนี้มีการใช้ศัพท์คำยืมภาษาเขมรอยู่เป็นจำนวนมาก เมื่อพิจารณาจากรูปคำศัพท์แล้วจะเห็นว่าคำเหล่านี้มีทั้งคำที่มีรูปโครงสร้างและรูปคำตรงและต่างจากคำต้นทางภาษาเขมรโบราณ คำต้นทางภาษาเขมรสมัยกลาง และคำที่มีรูปโครงสร้างและรูปคำสัมพันธ์กับภาษาเขมรปัจจุบัน นอกจากนั้นยังพบว่า คำต้นทางภาษาเขมรคำเดียวอาจแปรเป็นคำยืมหลายรูป คำบางคำมีการปรับรูปให้เข้ากับอักขรวิธีไทย บางคำก็มีการตั้งใจดัดแปลงให้ต่างไปจากรูปคำต้นทาง บางคำมีการแก้ไขเกินเหตุ  บางคำก็มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงเพียงลักษณะเดียว  บางคำก็มีความแตกต่างจากคำต้นทางมากกว่าหนึ่งลักษณะ บางคำเปลี่ยนแปลงไปจนสูญเสียที่มาของคำ ซึ่งรูปคำยืมภาษาเขมรที่มีลักษณะหลากหลายนี้อาจทำให้เกิดการปัญหาการตีความวรรณคดีไทยโบราณตามมา งานวิจัยนี้จะเสนอรูปคำยืมภาษาเขมรในสมุทรโฆษคำฉันท์ พร้อมกับแสดงรูปคำต้นทางภาษาเขมร เพื่อให้เห็นว่าคำมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างไร ขณะเดียวกันก็จะเป็นประโยชน์ในการอ่านวรรณคดี เรื่องสมุทรโฆษคำฉันท์ให้เข้าใจลึกซึ้งยิ่งขึ้น

ABSTRACT:

This article aims to study forms of Khmer loanwords in the Samudraghogm chn(d), which was composed during the Ayutthaya and Rattanakosin periods.  This literary work uses many words borrowed from Khmer.  Having considered  the forms of words, I find that these loan words may have the same forms as the original Old Khmer or Middle Khmer words, or the forms related to Modern Khmer.  In addition, it is found that certain words have various forms. Some forms may be similar to those of the original words while others may differ from them.  Some words have been modified to Thai orthography.  Some words were intentionally modified to be different from the original words.  Some words were hypercorrectly modified.  Some words may have only a single change or may have multiple changes.  Some words have changed so much that the original form is not apparent. Complication in the forms of words may cause problems to the interpretation of the Thai classical literature. This study is therefore trying to explore the changes of forms of Khmer loanwords and their original forms in Khmer to show the way the words have changed, as well as to be able to better understand  the Samudraghogmchn(d).
