บทคัดย่อ:

บทความนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์แก่นเรื่อง หลักธรรม และอิทธิพลของอัคคัญญสูตรที่มีต่อวรรณกรรมพระพุทธศาสนาตลอดจนถึงวรรณกรรมล้านนา ผลการวิเคราะห์พบว่า 1. แก่นเรื่องของอัคคัญญสูตรเกี่ยวข้องกับความเท่าเทียมกันของมนุษย์ทั้งทางการกำเนิดและทางความประพฤติ 2. หลักธรรมที่ปรากฏในอัคคัญญสูตร ได้แก่ ไตรลักษณ์ ปฏิจจสมุปบาท กุศลกรรมบถ 10 กับโพธิปักขิยธรรม 7 หลักธรรมทั้งหมดสอดคล้องและสนับสนุนแก่นเรื่อง เป็นไปเพื่อการสลายระบบวรรณะของพราหมณ์ ซึ่งมีความเชื่อว่ามนุษย์ไม่เท่าเทียมกัน เพราะชาติกำเนิด อันเป็นต้นเหตุให้มนุษย์ติดข้องในวัฎฎสงสาร 3. นิทานโบราณเกี่ยวกับการกำเนิดโลก มนุษย์ สังคม และวรรณะในอัคคัญญสูตร ส่งอิทธิพลให้กับวรรณกรรมพระพุทธศาสนาประเภทโลกศาสตร์ อันมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายลักษณะภูมิศาสตร์ของโลกและสัตว์โลกตามคติพุทธศาสนา ทั้งยังส่งอิทธิพลให้วรรณกรรมล้านนา ประเภทตำนานการสร้างบ้านเมือง อันมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายที่มาของกษัตริย์ล้านนา ว่าสืบมาจากพระมหาสมมติหรือพระพุทธเจ้าศากยโคดม ทั้งนี้วรรณกรรมทั้ง ๒ ประเภทข้างต้น ไม่ได้สะท้อนแก่นเรื่องของอัคคัญญสูตร

ABSTRACT:

This article aims to analyse the main point, principles and the influence of Aggañña Sutta in  Buddhist and Lanna literature. The results are as follows. 1. The main point of Aggañña Sutta is concerned with human equality, genesis and behavior. 2. The principles in the Aggañña Sutta are Tilakkhana, Paticcasamuppada, Kusalakammapatha, and Bodhipakkhiya-dhamma. All four principles are consistent and supportive of the main point which is to break down the caste system of the Brahman who believe human beings are not equal because of their origins and because people are trapped in a cycle of suffering. 3. The tales related to the beginning of the earth, human beings, society and the caste system in Aggañña Sutta have impacted and affected Buddhist Literature which describes the Knowledge of the world and its organisms according to the Buddhist precepts. Moreover, it has affected Lanna literature in legends of the country. The purpose of the legends is to describe the origin of the Lanna Kings which had a direct  lineage from Lord Buddha. However, both types of literature do not show the main theme of Aggañña Sutta.
