บทคัดย่อ:

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอพฤติกรรมสารสนเทศของผู้ใช้งานจารึก ซึ่งประกอบด้วย วัตถุประสงค์ของการใช้งาน, การกำหนดความต้องการ,การกำหนดแหล่งที่คาดว่าจะมีข้อมูล, การค้นหาจารึก, การคัดเลือก, การนำไปใช้ ใช้วิธีการวิจัยแบบศึกษาเฉพาะกรณี (Case study approach) เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์ผู้ใช้จารึกจำนวน 22 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 

(1)วัตถุประสงค์โดยทั่วไปของการใช้งานจารึก คือ ใช้ประกอบการเรียนการสอน การเขียนเอกสารทางวิชาการ 

(2) ผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่กำหนดความต้องการจารึกจาก ประเด็นเรื่องหรือเนื้อหา

(3) ผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ข้อมูลจารึกจากหนังสือชุดประชุมจารึก 

(4) องค์ประกอบที่ผู้ใช้กำหนดเพื่อประโยชน์ในการสืบค้นและเข้าถึง คือ ประเด็นเนื้อหา, ยุคสมัย,อักษร, ภาษา,คำสำคัญ, ที่พบ, ที่อยู่ดั้งเดิม

ABSTRACT:

This study has objective to present information behaviors of the inscription user: this behavioral includes the objectives of using, identification of information needs, identification of source, searching, selecting and obtaining. The case study approach was used in this study. Data collecting was conducted by in-depth interview from 22 information-rich cases. The results of this study indicated that: 

(1) the general purpose to use inscription for the instruction media, writing scholarly literature

(2) most of the inscription user defined the need from the topic content 

(3) most of the inscription user used the information from the inscription book series

(4) the elements of inscription user use to determine the criteria of inscription searching and access are topic of content, period, script, language, keywords, find spot and original place.
