บทคัดย่อ:

บทความนี้มุ่งศึกษาอนุภาคในนิทานคำกลอนเรื่องพระคาวุตและเปรียบเทียบอนุภาคที่มีลักษณะเหมือนคล้ายกับอนุภาคในวรรณกรรมนิทานของไทย เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะร่วมของอนุภาคในนิทานไทย ผลการศึกษาพบว่านิทานคำกลอนเรื่องพระคาวุตมีอนุภาคที่มีลักษณะร่วมกับอนุภาคในนิทานไทยทั้ง 3 ประเภท ได้แก่ อนุภาคที่มีลักษณะร่วมกันแสดงให้เห็นว่านิทานคำกลอนเรื่องพระคาวุตได้เลือกเอาอนุภาคที่น่าสนใจซึ่งเหมือนคล้ายกับอนุภาควรรณกรรมนิทานเรื่องอื่นๆ มาสร้างเรื่องเพื่อทำให้เกิดความสนุกสนานและอบรมสั่งสอนคนในสังคม

ABSTRACT:

This study aims to investigate the motifs used in a Thai verse tale called Pra Kawut. Comparing the characteristics found in Pra Kawut with other Thai tales, common motif characteristics within Thai literary works can be analyzed. Interestingly, Pra Kawut shares three common motifs with other Thai tales: characters, objects and events. These shared motifs indicate that Pra Kawut employs the common Thai literature motifs; both for entertaining and didactic purposes.
