บทคัดย่อ:

ละคร (theatre) เป็นเครื่องมือหนึ่งในการสร้างการเรียนรู้เรื่องเพศสภาวะในสังคมไทย บทความนี้จึงเป็นความพยายามในการศึกษาบทบาทของละครในเรื่องดังกล่าว การศึกษาพบว่า เนื้อหาและรูปแบบของละครที่แตกต่างกันส่งผลต่อการเรียนรู้ที่แตกต่างกันของผู้ชม ละครที่มีรูปแบบสมจริงที่เรียบง่ายแต่มีเนื้อหาที่ท้าทายมุมมองชุดเดิมของผู้ชมสามารถสร้างการเรียนรู้ได้ดีกว่าละครที่มีรูปแบบซับซ้อนแต่มีเนื้อหาที่คนในสังคมรับรู้กันอยู่แล้ว อย่างไรก็ดี องค์ประกอบของผู้ชมในฐานะปัจเจกบุคคลและบริบททางสังคมที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับเรื่องเพศสภาวะเข้ามามีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับการเรียนรู้เรื่องเพศสภาวะจากละครอย่างซับซ้อน

ABSTRACT:

Theatre is one of the social interventions for gender learning in Thai society. This paper is an attempt to study the role of theatre in this regard. The study reveals that differences in forms and contents of the theatre results in differences of learning. Simplified realistic form (with the content that challenges the audiences’ existing gender perspective) can bring about learning better than those of complicated forms with non-challenging contents. However, audiences’ characteristics and backgrounds, and social context related to gender issues are complicatedly involved in gender learning through the theatre.
